Today I upgraded the back end of my website. WordPress has evolved considerably and the results are convincing. The website is now much faster. Some of the newer themes ever require a recent version. Maybe the best feature is the automatic upgrade. I hope that this was the last time that I had to move files around manually.

Mathematica on Mac OS X at the Eindhoven University of Technology
Mathematica is an extremely powerful math tool. The Eindhoven University of Technology has a site license, but only for the Windows platform. The serial number and registration provided, will not work on a Mac OS X computer. But Wolfram has got you covered! You can apply for a Home-use license, even one for Mac OS X. You need to fill in the online form and after a manual validation, they approve your application. I tried it out and I am now the proud owner of a Mathematica liscence for Mac OS X at the TU/e. Voila!
